Job Description :
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Electrical Engineering.
- Advise and mentor students.
- Supervise MS and PhD theses / dissertations.
- Develop funded research programs appropriate to the field of specialization.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to quality education and student interaction.
- Contribute to collaborative research and educational programs in communications, signal processing, power systems, automatic control, and electronics.
- Undertake teaching and research activities in the respective area of specialization.
- Applicants with relevant industrial experience are particularly encouraged to apply.
- The department provides excellent infrastructure facilities to support advanced research activities.
- Faculty members have access to major research facilities provided by the University Research & Innovation Sector.
Research Areas:
Electronics (Mixed-Signal):
- Expertise focus: CMOS analog & mixed-mode electronics.
Digital Signal Processing:
- Expertise focus: Speech & Audio; Signal & Image Compression; Wavelets; Machine Learning for Signal Processing; Seismic Signal Processing; Adaptive Filtering.
Microwaves, Photonics & Photonic Systems:
- Expertise focus: Photonics, Radar Systems.
Control Systems:
- Expertise focus: Control Theory; Dynamical Systems.
Communication Systems:
- Expertise focus: Contemporary areas in communications, Communications Instrumentation.

Qualifications:
- PhD in Electrical Engineering or Similar.
- Strong record of published research.
- Experience in supervising research of graduate students.
- Relevant teaching experience at the university level.
- Teaching and/or industrial experience in the respective areas of specialization.
