| Job Description | One of the reputed Universities in Saudi Arabia invites applicants for a full-time Faculty (Assistant, Associate, Full Professor) in Carbon Management and Industrial Decarbonization (Chemical Engineering) to contribute to research and academic activities critical to the energy transition. Job Description:
- The position covers processes and technologies enabling deep decarbonization of industrial systems through advances in CO₂ capture, carbon utilization, and circular carbon pathways.
- Areas of interest include post-combustion and process-integrated carbon capture, waste-to-energy and waste-to-carbon technologies, thermochemical and catalytic conversion of waste streams, and integration of carbon management strategies within industrial processes.
- The successful candidate will develop scalable solutions to reduce emissions from energy-intensive sectors and pathways toward net-zero carbon systems.
- Research priorities include climate, carbon capture, utilization and storage, critical minerals, energy efficiency, renewable energy technologies, and sustainable fuels.

Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering or a closely related field.
Required Skills:
- Track record of research excellence demonstrated by impactful publications or industrial experience demonstrated by intellectual property and product development.
- Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
- Ability to establish and lead a rigorous research program.
