One of the reputed Universities in Saudi Arabia is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Assistant / Associate / Full Professor in  Low-Carbon Energy Systems & Energy Conversion to contribute to research and academic activities related to the global energy transition and the development of sustainable energy technologies.

The position covers technologies that convert and utilize energy efficiently while enabling the transition to low-carbon energy systems. Relevant research areas include hydrogen and ammonia energy systems, synthetic fuels, advanced combustion and plasma-assisted systems, gas turbines and other heat engines, and next-generation power cycles.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct high-quality research in Low-Carbon Energy Systems and Energy Conversion.
 
- Develop innovative technologies that support the transition to low-carbon energy systems.
 
- Conduct research in areas including hydrogen and ammonia energy systems, synthetic fuels, advanced combustion and plasma-assisted systems, gas turbines, heat engines, and next-generation power cycles.
 
- Establish and lead a rigorous research program.
 
- Develop impactful research outcomes through high-quality publications, industrial collaboration, intellectual property, and product development.
 
- Contribute to the advancement of sustainable energy technologies and energy-efficient systems.
 
- Collaborate with academic, industrial, and research partners in areas related to energy transition and sustainability.

Job Profile

Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
 
Required Skills:
 
- Track record of research excellence demonstrated through impactful publications, or relevant industrial experience demonstrated through intellectual property and product development.
 
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
 
- Ability to establish and lead a rigorous and independent research program.
