- Develop and lead research in Carbon Management and Industrial Decarbonization.
- Advance processes and technologies for deep decarbonization of industrial systems.
- Conduct research in CO₂ capture, carbon utilization, and circular carbon pathways.
- Explore post-combustion and process-integrated carbon capture technologies.
- Develop waste-to-energy and waste-to-carbon technologies.
- Research thermochemical and catalytic conversion of waste streams.
- Integrate carbon management strategies within industrial processes.
- Develop scalable solutions to reduce emissions from energy-intensive sectors.
- Advance pathways toward net-zero carbon systems.
- Contribute to interdisciplinary research, education, and innovation within the Chemical Engineering Program.

| Job Profile |
Qualifications:
- Ph.D. degree in Chemical Engineering, Carbon Management, Industrial Decarbonization, or a closely related field.
Requirements:
- Track record of research excellence demonstrated through impactful publications or industrial experience demonstrated through intellectual property and product development.
- Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
- Ability to establish and lead a rigorous research program.
- Relevant expertise in carbon capture, carbon utilization, industrial decarbonization, waste conversion, or related areas is preferred.
- Ability to contribute to research areas critical to the energy transition, including climate, carbon management, critical minerals, energy efficiency, renewable energy technologies, and sustainable fuels.
