One of the reputed University in Bahrain invites applicants for the position of Assistant / Associate Professor in Electronic & Computer Engineering.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and deliver high-quality lectures and tutorials on foundational and advanced topics in Electronic and Computer Engineering.

2. Create and supervise hands-on laboratory sessions and projects for undergraduate and graduate students.

3. Mentor and advise students on their academic progress and career goals.

4. Conduct and publish research in top-tier academic journals and conferences.

5. Participate in departmental and university committees and activities as required.

6. Engage in professional development opportunities to continuously enhance teaching and research skills.

Qualifications and Experience:

1. Ph.D. / Master's in Electronic and Computer Engineering or a related field.

2. Demonstrated expertise in one or more of the following areas:

    Digital electronics, Computer architecture, Embedded systems, Signal processing, or Artificial intelligence.

3. Proven track record of research excellence, with publications in reputable peer-reviewed journals and conferences.

4. Strong technical skills and proficiency in relevant software and tools.

5. Prior experience in teaching and mentoring students, preferably at the university level. Minimum 3 years of experience for Assistant Professor, 5 years for Associate Professor.

6. Ability to effectively communicate complex concepts and ideas to diverse audiences.

7. Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

8. Eligibility for professional engineering licensure would be an asset.
