| Job Description | One of the reputed University in Qatar invites applicants for the position of Assistant / Associate / Full Professor in Pharmacology. Responsibilities: 1. Teach pharmacology within the medical curriculum, ensuring high-quality instruction aligned with program objectives. 2. Develop and deliver lectures, labs, and other educational activities in their area of expertise. 3. Participate actively in curriculum development and assessment activities. 4. Engage in student mentorship and academic advising. 5. Conduct original research in pharmacology or related biomedical sciences. |
| Job Profile | Qualifications and Experience: 1. M.D., Ph.D., PharmD or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent terminal degree. 2. A minimum of three years of significant teaching experience in a university or academic health system. 3. An interest in contributing to research in medical education and participating in administrative roles in teaching. 4. Previous experience in the teaching of the principles of pharmacology and systems pharmacology in a medical curriculum. 5. Strong leadership skills. 6. Experience with several learning modalities, including problem-based learning (PBL), team-based learning (TBL), lectures, small group sessions, journal clubs and bed side teaching. 7. Experience providing individual support, feedback, and advice to medical students. 8. Knowledge of medical education curricular development and innovations. 9.
