| Job Description | One of the reputed University in OMAN requires Assistant/Associate Professor in Mechanical Engineering (Heat Transfer and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) / Applied Mechanics and Mechanical Engineering Design / Industrial Engineering (Ergonomics and Human Factors). Duties: 1. Teach academic courses in the field of specialization according to quality standards. 2. Supervise graduation research and postgraduate theses (Master's and Ph.D.). 3. Conduct and publish scientific research in the field of specialization. 4. Strengthen the relationship between the university and the community through academic and research activities. 5. Contribute to the development of academic policies and implement academic and research quality assurance standards.

| Job Profile | Qualification and Experience: PhD in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline, with specialization in Heat Transfer and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) / Applied Mechanics and Mechanical Engineering Design / Industrial Engineering (Ergonomics and Human Factors). At least 2 years of relevant experience and proven excellence in teaching, research and community engagement. 1. Heat Transfer and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD): Applications are invited in the areas of thermos-fluids in general and preferably in Heat Transfer and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD). The applicant should highlight his/her teaching, research, and other activities in Heat Transfer and Computational Dynamics in a separate section in the CV. 2. Applied Mechanics and Mechanical Engineering Design: Applications are invited in the areas of Applied Mechanics and Mechanical Engineering Design with special focus on the engineering design process and analysis of machine components, and computational mechanics. The applicant should highlight his/her teaching, research, and other activities in Applied Mechanics and Mechanical Engineering Design in a separate section in the CV. 3.
