One of the reputed University in the UAE invites applicants for the position of Assistant / Associate Professor in Biochemistry.

Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and deliver Biochemistry courses at various academic levels.

- Ensure course content, teaching methods, and materials align with defined learning outcomes and academic standards.

- Contribute to the development of best academic practices within the department, promoting effective knowledge transfer.

- Utilize appropriate teaching, learning support, and assessment methods to foster student engagement and academic success.

- Review and refine teaching and learning strategies to ensure they promote active learning, critical thinking, and problem-based learning in Biochemistry.

- Foster inquiry-based learning by integrating real-world applications of Biochemical concepts in the curriculum.

Qualifications and Experience:

- PhD in Biochemistry or a related field from a recognized university.

- Minimum of 3 - 5 years of teaching experience in a higher education setting.

- Ability to lead and support change to enhance academic performance and improve student outcomes.

- Strong team player with a collaborative approach to academic initiatives.
