| Job Description | One of the reputed University in the UAE invites applicants for the position of Assistant / Associate / Full Professor in Art History. Responsibilities: - Teach a range of Art History courses, including introductory surveys, upper-division courses in contemporary art and design, and specialized topics in design history, curatorial practice, and museum studies. - Apply innovative and interdisciplinary teaching methods that engage students and enhance their understanding of art history across cultures and time periods. - Integrate expertise in Heritage into course content, fostering critical thinking about historical and contemporary contexts. - Develop and update course materials to reflect current research, practices, and global perspectives in Art History. - Contribute to curriculum development in Art History and related programs. |
| Job Profile | Qualifications and Experience: - Ph.D. in Art History or a closely related field from a recognized institution. - Minimum of 3 – 5 years of teaching experience in related subjects. - Demonstrated expertise in one or more of the following areas: contemporary art and design, design history, curatorial studies, museum studies, or cultural heritage.
